Reveal® 3-D for Soy offers results in just 5 minutes and can be used in virtually any environment to screen environmental swabs and clean-in-place rinses.

The Reveal 3-D line of food allergen tests kits is uniquely designed to guard against over saturation and false negative results, with results displayed in three visual lines on the lateral flow test strip.

A control line assures the test is working properly, and two other lines outline non detectable, low, and high levels of soy.

The Reveal 3-D for Soy kit contains the following:

  • 1 sealed foil pouch, containing 10 beige Reveal 3-D Soy Test devices
  • 10 sachets containing Type 8 Extraction Buffer
  • 10 sample tubes and caps
  • 10 individually packaged, sterile swabs with break-off tips
  • 1 bottle of swab wetting solution

Assay Principles

The Reveal 3-D format is a single-step lateral flow immuno-chromatographic assay. The extract is wicked through a reagent zone, which con­tains antibodies specific for the target allergen conjugated to coloured particles. If allergen is present, it will be captured by the conjugated antibodies.

The allergen antibody-particle complex then is wicked onto a membrane which contains a zone of antibody specific for the target allergen. This zone captures the complex allowing the particles to concentrate and form a visible line. If no target allergen is present, no line will form.
