To be sure to make a sterile and performant analysis, use a paddle blender with a filter-bag: once the sample is blended, just pipet the filtrate, free of waste, behind the filter. There is literally no contact between the sample and the blender. The blending chamber is easy to clean because all the BagMixer blenders have a 270 degrees opening door.
